Sunny & Rosinante are childhood best friends that grew up together & formed an inseparable bond.♥They met when Sengoku brought Rosinante to the Marine HQ Base as a child and adopted him, Rosinante spent a lot of time as a child crying or quietly avoiding the other kids until Sunny befriended him.Rosinante and Sunny were assigned to infiltrate the Donquixote Family and provide the Marine's intel on the criminal organization. In doing so they were assigned to falsify a marriage as part of their undercover personas. Both of them had been harboring romantic feelings for their best friend until this moment, they confessed to each other because of the mission and got actually married before they left Marine HQ.Eventually, Sunny leaves with Rosinante in order to help find a way to get Law treatment for his disease. Sunny's main focus in these moments is comforting Law rather than having outbursts at the hospital for their treatment of him like Rosinante. Sunny tries very very hard to give Law back some of the childhood that he had to miss out on when he had to grow up too quickly.On Minion Island, With Law in hiding, and Rosi setting off to find the ope ope no mi, Sunny is tasked with using their devil fruit to create decoys of the family to distract the marines & dq family. They don't know that Rosi has been killed until they feel the burning of their locket, opening it to find that Rosinante's vivre card has been turned to ash. Panic sets in and they try to get to him and Law, but the birdcage makes it impossible to get to Rosinante.Hearing that a boy has been taken in by the Marines makes them breath easier, until they find that it's not Law. Moira is Sunny's Boss & Mentor in the scientific community. Sunny works in her lab in Oasis, and develops feelings that they soon find out are mutual. Sunny helps Moira learn to open up and love again.♥Moira personally recruited Sunny to work with her in the lab at Oasis. Sunny had just graduated school in Bristol England, where they were studying biology and genetics of extinct and endangered species, and developed a genetic sequence to revive and restore life to things long dead. This piqued Moira's instinct and after months of correspondence, Sunny was hired and moved out to Iraq to be with Moira and her team.For a long time, Sunny believes the rumors around the unethical side of Moira's work to be rumors, but it's not long before they find out the hard way that she puts aside morals in the pursuit of science that she believes will help humanity as a whole. And as part of the team, Moira has been using Sunny's research to reanimate humans.Sunny struggles to accept this and leaves the lab, threatening to break contract and leave once they witness the horrible human experimentation that Moira isn't afraid to delve into. They are distraught, finding that their mentor is so twisted and horrible and yet they cannot help but still love her.It's not until Sunny pulls away that Moira realizes how strongly she feels for them and does whatever she can to get them back. Moira shows up at Sunny's apartment as they are packing, confessing her feelings for Sunny and expressing how important her work is to her. She cannot lose either of them, she wants Sunny to understand this. In doing so, she also sort of manipulates the fact that Sunny will lose the rights to their genetic sequences, their life's work, if they break contract and leave. Sunny is incredibly conflicted by this, forced to choose between their morals and not only their life work, but the woman that they love.They reluctantly agree to return to work with her, though they do not reveal their feelings at this time, which in turn, makes Moira colder, fearing she will be hurt again by someone who hates her for her scientific pursuits.Eventually they work through the issues, Sunny knows that they cannot abandon their work and that their feelings for Moira are already too strong to deny, running too deep to ignore. Character Sheet to be Drawn. ♥Sunny owns a cafe in Mesagoza, Paldea. They run the cafe with the help of their partner Pokemon. Sunny does not have a preference for battling and all of the partner Pokemon are free to come and go as they like from the cafe, though the majority of them have very strong bonds with Sunny and enjoy having a warm safe place to live and the homecooked meals from Sunny.Sunny is originally from Nimbasa City in Unova, their Oddish & Vanillite (now Bellossom (Rosemary) & Vanilluxe (Vanilla)) the only Pokemon that emigrated with them.Pokemon that they have strong bonds with that can always be found in the cafe are: Gardevoir (Lemongrass), Goodra (Jelly), Lurantis (Basil), & Polteageist (Chamomile).
Sometimes a Wigglytuff, Pawmot, and Clefable can be found in the cafe as well, but less commonly.Their cafe boasts visitors from all over, attracted by the cute menu items and lovely atmosphere. Sunny meets Rika when she visits their cafe for the first time, sparking what would be a flirty will-they-won't-they atmosphere between them until Rika finally asks them out on a date.

Miranda asks why they laughed and Sunny explains that they're the artist, and Miranda (embarrassed) apologizes for her jokes. They were found at the beach in the late 1960s by a polyamorous group of hippies, who raised them under the name Sunshine, relating to their sunny disposition as a baby.They grew up very self sufficient and living off the land. They make all of their own clothes, forage in the woods, and continue to live off the land.Sunny & Stan got married in the late 80s, around the time that Stan started the Mystery Shack as a business, and divorced a few years later, amicably. Neither Stan or Sunny tell anyone why they got divorced but anytime anyone asks they give a different reason each time (because they think it's funny). It's been so many years now, they don't even remember the real reason.Contemporary with canon, Sunny runs a very small tailoring shop in the town of Gravity Falls, where most of what they do is repair flannel shirts.Stan and Sunny are still very good friends and drinking buddies. Sunny takes as much care of Stan (& company, when applicable) as they can, they like to bring over prepped food so that Stan has home cooked meals stored in the freezer so they know he is eating well.Sunny currently lives in a converted van in the woods, they like to be mobile and be able to travel around, though they can be found in Gravity Falls more often than not. As a selkie, they need consistent trips to the beach to feel connected to their real home (the ocean) and to make sure they don't loose who they are.Sunny gets along pretty good with the Twins, but Mabel especially, as she reminds them a lot of themself as a kid & she has a lot of the traits of Stan that drew them to him in the first place. Sunny likes to spend afternoons with Mabel at the shack if she's not busy, doing crafts or art projects together.
